Kids Sizing Guide for Digital Performance Lenses

Ensuring the perfect fit for your child's digital performance lenses is essential for comfort and optimal vision. Here's how to choose the right size:

Please note indicated ages are intended as a guide only, sizing will vary from child to child, if you're not sure it's best to measure.

1. Lens Width (mm)

  • The horizontal measurement of each lens.
    • Junior (38-40mm): Ideal for younger kids, typically ages 2-4.
    • Petite (40-42mm): Ideal for younger kids, typically ages 4-6.
    • Standard (42-46mm): Typically suitable for kids ages 6-10.
    • Extra Large (46mm): Typically suitable for older kids, ages 10+ or those with wider faces.

2. Bridge Width (mm)

  • The distance between the lenses.
    • Standard (17-19mm): Fits most children comfortably.

3. Temple Length (mm)

  • The length of the arms of the glasses.
    • 120-130mm: Ideal for toddlers and young children.
    • 130-140mm: Suitable for most older kids and preteens.

Tips for the Perfect Fit:

  • Proper Coverage: The lenses should cover your child's field of vision without extending past the cheekbones or eyebrows.
  • Snug Fit: The glasses should sit comfortably on the nose and ears without slipping or leaving marks.
  • Room to Grow: Consider a slightly larger size if your child is in between sizes, to allow for growth.
